Basement ventilation methods

The basement ventilation system is a system consisting of industrial fan equipment respon-sible for sucking or supplying air (depending on each different basement ventilation sys-tem), and air ducts to transport air flow to required areas.

Staircase Pressurization methods

Most building codes require the fire stairwells in a high-rise building to be pressurized to keep smoke out. The stairwell pressurization serves several purposes: Inhibit migration of smoke to stairwells, areas of refuge, elevator shafts, or similar areas.

Car Park Ventilation

Jet fans are placed at strategic positions to ensure air movement and mixing throughout the car park. The combination of this thrust ventilation principle with mechanical exhaust and (natural and/or mechanical).

Kitchen Ventilation

Larger kitchens are likely to require a mechanical extraction system with a fan and a filter, ventila-tion in smaller kitchens may be as simple as air supplied via ventilation grills in windows, walls or doors.
